A. The Vibrations - Gonna Get Along Without you Now
B. The Vibrations - 'Cause You're Mine
THE VIBRATIONS had already enjoyed a 10 year+ career as The Jay Hawks and Marathons before charting as The Vibrations in 1964 with “My Girl Sloopy” and the follow-up “Watusi Time”. The first of a slue of Northern Soul classics came a year later in the shape of “End Up Crying”, “Talkin’ Bout Love”, the dynamite Wigan Casino floorfiller “Gonna Get Along Without You Now”, “Come To Yourself”, “Love In The There Hills”, the awesome “’Cause You’re Mine” and “Surprise Party For Baby”. Their two most treasured Northern Soul dancers are featured here, back-to-back, for the first time.
